Ling defended thesis

Ling Lan, a graduate student in CM3, successfully defended her Ph.D thesis, titled "Machine Learning and Statistical Approaches to Extend Structure Solution Methods to Lower Symmetry Cases," on 12/02/2024. Ling's work has been supported by NSF-DMREF, and she is jointly supervised by Simon Billinge, a professor of materials science at Columbia. Congratulations to Ling!
