Zirui Xu, a graduate student in CM3, successfully defended his Ph.D thesis, titled "Ohta–Kawasaki Energy and Its Phase-Field Simulation" on 09/03/2024. The thesis contained several published results on the competition between local and nonlocal interactions in binary and multicomponent systems.
